I recently switched employers and started a new 401K account. I was curious about the vesting schedule at my old firm and how the company match works given that I left before the some of the match became 100% vested. If I continue to hold the account will the remaining match become 100% vested per the schedule? Or will it never become 100% vested because I left the firm after 2 years?

Vesting Schedule:
One Year : 25%
Two Years : 50%
Three Years : 75%
Four Years : 100%

I would be shocked if that were the case. The whole point of vesting is to serve as a retention tool for employees. You will very likely receive whatever has vested as of your last day and nothing more.
On the issue of keeping your 401k at your old firm, I would recommend you roll it into a Traditional or Rollover IRA. You will have much better investment options and lower fees. You can construct a similar portfolio or work with an advisor to help you create a portfolio that meets your goals and objectives.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any additional questions.
