I have an S-Corp. I currently live ins California, but I’m moving to Montana.
Most of my revenue comes from phone sales of health insurance in Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and Alabama.
Can I just transfer the S-Corp?
There is no need to transfer anything with regard to the S Corp since the S Corp. is a federal entity recognized by the state and has its own Federal tax ID number. What you may have to do is the Department of State in Montana and advise them you will be doing business in their state. This may mandate some state tax filings which have no effect whatsoever on the S corporation as an entity. Hope this helps and good luck
